but it is .wav format. What sort of WAV? Could you post a screen shot of the Advanced Properties? i am running on windows vista. does it have any conflict with audacity ? Have you read this? http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Windows_Vista_OS the name of file is in english. What is it?

The problem is most likely that the file is not really an MP3 file, or a WAV file, but in some other format. In Windows, you can right click on the file and select "Properties" then look in the "Advanced" properties to see what format the audio file is (also the number of audio c...

Using the "latency" settings was the first thing that came to mind when I read this question so I had a play with it, but no joy.

If you have access to 2 old "reel-to-reel" tape recorders, some 1/4" audio tape and a reel of Sellotape, I can show you a way to do it.
