Re: Batch export
I have at least 100 audacity files that I need to export them to mp3s is there a way to export all of them at once? without having to open each one and export them? You mean you have 100 Audacity Projects that you want to export? Unfortunately you will need to do this one at a time. It is strongly ...

Re: Editing mp3s to shorten length
Audacity always works on uncompressed files.
You could try "mp3directcut" http://mpesch3.de1.cc/mp3dc.html

Re: Has this forum become toxic to MSIE 7 ?
As far as I know there have been no recent changes to the forum software. Also the majority of forum users are Windows users, but you are the only one to raise this issue, so it's most likely that the problem is your end. Does anything load into all of those new windows? Have you done a full "m...

Re: Rewritable CD's
It's scratched ? It's not really a CD-RW ? The CD writer is very old and does not support CD-RW ? There's something wrong with the software they are using ? The CD-RW has been left in direct sunlight too long ? There's a big lump of chewing gum stuck to the CD ? It's a side effect of living close to...

Re: Voice delay in headphones when recording
but is there a way to hear your own voice through the headphone while recording - would this mean a mic other than a USB ?? Yes it would mean using a microphone that is not USB. You can listen to the sounds from a USB microphone through the headphones only by using "software playthrough",...

Re: Recording what I hear
OK so another question, while recording (streaming from a radio program) it works fine. What I'm wondering, is there a way to listen to other things while recording that? Sure - switch on your TV or radio :D The less flippant answer - When you are recording streaming media, you are effectively reco...

Re: Wav files in Media Player cannot open
If I was using nero wouldn't I get the same problem with the media usage rights? Nero includes a setup program that can enable CD burning rights for all users. You need to be logged onto Windows with Administrative rights to install the program, but once installed, all users can burn CDs. These &qu...

Re: MP3 player for websites
We are going somewhat "off topic" here, but I'll try and give you some pointers. Not all web space is equal. Many Internet Service Providers will give you a limited amount of "free" web space as part of your broadband/dial up connection deal. Such space is generally around 50 MB,...
