I have to use qjackctl to run jamulus and select Jack Audio as the host
Have you also selected Jack Audio as the host in Audacity? (In the Device Toolbar)

Does the "Project Rate" in Audacity (lower left corner of the main Audacity window) match the Jack sample rate?

The latest 2.2.2 version

The current version is Audacity 2.4.2.

Re: Time Shift macro?

If you want a helpful reply, you will need to be a lot more detailed in your descriptions. We can't see your computer, or what you are doing, so we only have a vague idea of what you are doing.

Re: Possible Scam Website

Yes that's a scam / malware website. We've been trying to persuade Google to stop listing it for years but they don't appear to be interested .
The genuine Audacity website is here: https://www.audacityteam.org/ (and it's the top listing on Google when I search).

Re: Need help with "presets"

I can't "export" the settings from a track ? There's no way to take an audio file in isolation and magically "extract" the recipe of effects that were applied in creating the file. While an Audacity project is open, you can view a summary of the project history via "View me...

Thanks. I've downloaded Foobar and the mp3 plays fine in that. I can't see a "save as WAV" or "decode to WAV" option.
