Re: How To Record a Storybook on CD?

Check out the "Tips" and "Tutorials" on the Audacity wiki for lots of helpful information. http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Audacity_Wiki_Home_Page Vista can be a bit of a pain at times, so it may be worth looking at this page as well: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/ind...

Re: removing echo

Nice idea, but apart from the exceptional case that never happens in practice, it is very unlikely to work. For the "sound cancellation" to work, the waveforms must match exactly before they are inverted and "summed". I take it that your idea is to cancel out the reflected sound ...

Re: Seal USB turntable & Windows XP

Try booting up the computer with the turntable not connected to the computer. When your computer is fully booted, connect the turntable to the computer - you should see some indication that your computer has recognised the turntable. If nothing pops up, look in the system tray for the USB icon - if ...

Re: Reel-to-Reel speed problem

If you click on the "Name" of the time track you will see a drop down menu. There is a menu option to change the "range" of the time track. This brings two pop-up windows, one to set the slowest speed (as a %) and one to set the fastest speed (also as a %). I'm not sure how well ...

Re: No Line-In in Vista

There is a way round this - you need to be at an approp...

Re: buzz when recording bass in audacity

That is because if you had looked carefully, you would have seen that the said track (in the video) was not at the default zoom level. I only had a quick glance at it and didn't notice the zoom level. My main concern was with glaukopes's question. The problem you describe is still different from th...

Re: Rewritable CD's

I didn't put any CD software on my computer. ? How do you write CD's without any CD writing software? With a pen? I guess that you mean that you have no CD writing software other than Windows Media Player/ Windows built in support for CD writing? That could well be the cause of the problem - get a ...

Re: MP3 player for websites

It looks like they provide ftp access with their standard packages, so you just need the ftp details and an ftp client program.
