Re: No sound on Audacity 1.2.6
every one says you have to change the 1/0 thing I think you mean I/O (Input/Output) rather than 1/0 (one zero). Open Audacity Click on "Edit" in the top menu Select "Preferences" (at the bottom of that menu) The "Preferences Window" will open - it has several tabs Sect...

Re: Recording what I hear
I'm recording and saving what I hear just fine. That's good :D 1) I still don't see the options(inline, stereo mixer....) on the pulldown for the mixer toolbar ? That's not unusual. Re: No Line-In in Vista
I do not know whether it is advisable in Audacity under Preferences/Quality to select 16-bit rather than the 32-bit default setting, in order to make it match the 16-bit setting for the microphone. That dependsd on what you are usually using Audacity for. When to use 16 bit: If you are just making ...

Re: Pulling audio from video clip?
If you mean getting the audio from a video file (such as Mpeg video, a VOB file, a WMV file, or similar) then download "SUPER" (by erightsoft) - it's a free format converter that will allow you to extract the audio digitally.
