Re: minimum recommended recording levels

I read (on the Audacity wiki, I think) that if you're recording in 32 bits, you don't need to worry too much about keeping the recording levels as hot as possible. Re: Recorded tracks saved but gone 1.2.5 OSX 10.4.11

Well the set-up and procedure look flawless. The only thing that I would have done differently is to save the project at the end with a different name so that I end up with project_a = first set, and project_b = first and second set. Since there's no mention of Audacity crashing or any other sign of...

Re: Compatible Audio Interfaces Devices

It depends on what platform you are on. Audacity does not support ASIO drivers as standard, but most Windows sound cards will also work with WDM drivers (you should check before you buy). Only just found this question. I guess that it's finished by now (3 days later). How long did it take, or did it not work?

Re: New member... drums plugin question inside

You need to find some "drum loops" either as WAV, MP3, or some other supported format (use Google to find them - there;s lots available for free) From the File menu in Audacity, choose "Import Audio" and select one of your drum loop files. Select the audio in the new track, and f...

I can't help much with this one (I don't use Vista) but this may be worth a look: http://audacityteam.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6492
