Re: Unable to Record Internet Radio via Behringer UCA202

You should be able to monitor the recording using the headphone socket on the UCA 202.
I can't test that on mine, as I've got a very early one and it doesn't have a headphone socket, but I think it should work.

Re: How would I get effects that mimic the Subdecay Noise Bo

If it was me wanting to emulate that effect, I would try to recreate it by writing my own plug-in with Nyquist, but there would be a lot of work involved and I don't personally have the time or motivation to attempt such a job. Anyhow, playing around with multiple effects can produce some really gro...

Re: how can in uninstall audacity 1.3.6 beta ?

Checkinstall is available for Ubuntu through Synaptic. The reason that I mentioned looking at the Checkinstall website was because the last time I looked there was a reported bug that I think said could sometimes make the root directory of your computer inaccessible. If this happened, you would need...

Re: Applying an effect to a separate track

Decibel (dB) is ratio in relation to a given reference rather than an absolute measurement. In some situations it is more convenient to talk about the ratio of something above a given reference, in which case the dB will be positive. In other situations it is more convenient to talk about the ratio ...

Re: how can in uninstall audacity 1.3.6 beta ?

If you install using "checkinstall" instead of just "install", then you can remove it using Synaptic.
You need to have "checkinstall" installed on your computer in order to use it - also see the checkinstall website for important information about what could go wrong.

Re: Applying an effect to a separate track

Let's say "Track 1" is the original, and "Track 2" is the duplicate (to duplicate the track, select track 1, then press Ctrl+D). Select "Track 2" and from the Effects menu select G-Verb The default settings in G-Verb s for a "Wet" mix - that is; the "Dry&...

Re: Problem with Audacity Unstable

Probably best to start with Audacity 1.3.x from scratch. 1) Uninstall Audacity 2) Navigate to Documents and Settings<user name>Application DataAudacity and delete the Audacity folder 3) Download Audacity 1.3.6 from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows (download the version that says: ...

Re: Annoying, Weird Sound When I Slow Tempo..

I slowed the tempo down to around -60. But I'm getting this annoying electronic, reverby distortion. Any way to clean or fix that? No, I don't think so. It's just a side effect that you get when you change the tempo a lot. An alternative, which may not be much help, would be to "Change Speed&q...
