Re: How Do I Post An Equalizer?
I know exactly how to do it, but I need to tell me non-techie mum. I thought it might be something like that. Remembering in Mac Land, Never been there Windows isn't immune to that either. Correct me, but WordPad starts out life in RTF, too? Yes, WordPad does, but NotePad is good ol' plain text. Of...

Re: Only 2 channels of audio allowed?
The set-up for 1.3.6 is very similar to 1.3.4 Open Audacity 1.3.4, click on "Edit > Preferences" and select the first tab (Audio I/O), and make a note of the settings. Close Audacity 1.3.4 and open Audacity 1.3.6 (you can't have both versions open at the same time) and check that the setti...

Re: Only 2 channels of audio allowed?
From your very brief description, I doubt that anyone will know what you are asking. Are you using 4 channel audio hardware? How have you configured Audacity? Have you recently updated to SP3? What version of Audacity were you using previously, and does that still do what you want?

Re: What is a really good DVD/video converter?
SUPER by erightsoft can convert VOB files (found on DVD's) to other video formats. However, some DVD's have various kinds of copy protection that make it a lot more difficult. The Doom9 forum is one of the best places to look for info about DVD's.

Re: Does ffmpeg feature not work on Mac?
the ffmpeg feature is new to Audacity 1.3.6
I've not got it to work on Linux yet either. There is certainly some problems with it since Linux doesn't use dll's either.

Re: Noise Removal duplicates whole track
There is a new function in Audacity 1.3.6 called "Linking". http://audacityteam.org/manual/index.php?title=Label_Tracks#Linking_labels_with_audio_tracks In certain situations this can cause peculiar bugs like this. The workaround is to switch off linking by clicking on the link button so t...

Re: Audacity window doesn't load
There sorta is. You can return Audacity to First Birthday at any time by trashing the preferences file. It may be called audacity.cfg, but your mileage may vary. Consult your local listings. The complete guide to trashing (resetting) Audacity's preferences: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?ti...

Re: How Do I Post An Equalizer?
Hi koz, Funny place to post - I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. I thought you know how to edit the EQCurves.xml file (I'm sure I remember a previous conversation about editing that file), are you asking for a simple way for non-techie people to be able to do this? Perhaps an "import pre...
