Allow me to make another suggestion: 1) Import into Audacity 2) Export as WAV (16 bit 44100Hz stereo) 3) Export as MP3 4) Burn the WAV files to a CD. ProTools saves WAV files (16 or 24 bit, depending on the settings that you make when you start a new project) within the project folder on the data disk. You can copy those files and import them directly into Audacity.
