Re: Antares Autotune VST compatability?
doh, guess I'll have to return it :( Why not use it with a program that does support it (you could try "Krystal Audio Engine" which is free, or "Reaper" which is not free, but inexpensive). There's nothing to stop you from using more than one audio program on your computer is th...

Re: Antares Autotune VST compatability?
I don't think it is compatible.
There is some information about VST compatible plug-ins here: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... T_Plug-ins

Re: Can I burn CD's with Audacity?
Windows Media Player is not really recommended for CD burning at all - as Koz said "the Desperation Method" . When you burn an audio CD (with any program) - the audio format on the CD MUST be "44100Hz 16 bit WAV" because that is the format that is used on audio CD's. Any other fo...

Re: Dragon Naturally Speaking 10
It seems that you've worked out that DNS is causing the problem, and it sounds like the program is hijacking your sound system. I've not got DNS, but something that may solve the problem. (This is for XP - for Vista you will find something similar here: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=M...

Re: Can I do this with Audacity?
I would recommend Audacity 1.3.6 (beta)
The 1.2.x version is getting very close to the end of its life now, and there are many improvements in 1.3.6.

Re: Correcting skips in downloaded music
A "skip" in the music when you play back in Windows Media player is not necessarily due to the file being faulty - it could be that Windows Media Player is making the skip rather than the file. To test this, Import the file into a new Audacity project (note that Audacity does not support a...

Re: editing data files
Leave the data files alone - doing anything with them directly is the quickest way to turn your project to dust. I want to re-separate tracks from audio files I've created from a recording of a record album. I'm not sure what you mean. could you try to describe in more detail what you have done and ...

Re: Recording Problems, Help Me?
So does your computer "auto-detect" what you plug into the sound card?
I suspect that your problem is that you are connecting the wrong output of the mixing desk top the computer.
