Re: My voice is slow when I record a song.
I have Acoustica Mixcraft and Adobe Audition and they both record in pitch. But Audacity and the Windows wave recorder both record in a lower pitch. Does anyone have a solution for this or an idea what it is. This is probably an issue with the sound card drivers. The difference between the software...

Re: OK KNOW WHAT ???????
I'm running out of ideas now. When it worked the first time, were you logged in as the same user as you are using now? What did you record with Windows Sound Recorder? Are you recording (trying to) the same thing with Audacity? I'm using MP3 songs I don't understand what you mean - what exactly are ...

Re: Can I burn CD's with Audacity?
so what settings should I use to maximize quality, and would also work in most cd players? For best quality, always work from WAV files and not MP3. When working in Audacity, set the preferences to use 32 bit audio as the default, and export your files as "16 bit 44100Hz WAV" In Nero, jus...

Re: OK KNOW WHAT ???????
Step 1 "don't panic". Have a nice cup of tea (I'm English) and relax for a while. Step 2 See if you can record with Windows Sound Recorder (it only records 60 seconds, but is good for trouble shooting). Step 3 If Windows Sound Recorder works, then reset the preferences in Audacity: 1) Go ...

Re: Audacity compiled for mp3 support
What I need to know (among other things) is where to find a repository that DOES contain a version compiled for mp3 support - any help there? It seems that the Fedora team are very keen to keep their OS open source and free of proprietary licenses, so it may not be available for Fedora at all. MP3 ...

Re: vocoder plugins anyone?
The vocoder works on one stereo track. Is that how you are applying it? If you still have a problem, please give a detailed step-by-step account of what you are doing, use the "Debug" button instead of the "OK" button on the vocoder, and include the full error message in your post.

Re: Can't Right-Click To Open Audacity From Explorer
Something seems to have been badly screwed up - let's see if we can clear it. Try this: 1) log into Windows with an Administrator account name 2) Uninstall all instances of Audacity 3) Go to "Program Files" and delete all Audacity folders. 4) Go to http://www.gaclrecords.org.uk/audacitydl....
