Re: I cann't record!!
Do you have a good recording level showing on the IO2? Also, it looks like you should be able to listen through headphones connected to the IO2, in which case you need to go to "Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O" and set the IO2 as both the recording and playback device. Are you recording 1 c...

Re: distortion when recording via sound card
When you record, how high are the (red) recording meters going? Note that you can grab the recoding meters with the mouse and move it around - if you stretch it out to the full width of your screen it is much easier to read the recording level. Could you post a short sample of the distorted audio (p...

Re: I cann't record!!
After setting Audacity Preferences (Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O) to use the IO2, you may need to restart Audacity. Note that with USB audio devices it is essential that they are connected and registered by Windows before you open Audacity. If still no joy, try rebooting. If still no joy after reb...

(You need to use the Guitar Pro synthesizer for this to work). If you do not have that option, go into your sou...

Re: Still hearing clicks... and time shift
While Im recording everything is hunky dory on tempo and such... however when i hit the stop button after recording... the audio stream shifts suddenly to the left about a tenth of a second.... This is caused by the "latency correction". The reason for latency correction is because there ...

The forum software does not like that link because of the spaces in the name. If anyone wants to download that clip, copy and paste this link: http://uploading.com/files/A4SEO15G/stand by me.mp3.html You do not appear to have any problems with DC offset, so no worries with that. The problem is with ...

Re: Right Click, Theme and Variations.
You may need to select "Advanced" in the properties. I can't remember off hand exactly the tab/buttons you need to select, but the information is there. This should work for Win98SE, XP and Vista - no idea about NT based OS's. (not certain about 98SE, it's been a long time since I used it,...
