<<<The specifications are excellent for such a low price >>> Yes, well, I think I would take some of that with a significant dollop of salt, I'm sure you are right, which is why a recommendation from someone that has used one is so valuable. One downside to aggressive noise cancellation, Can that b...

Re: Lost audio after upload

I did a new upload from scratch and re-did my editing. Then I **immediately** (rather than waiting overnight) exported the resulting project to a .WAV format file, That's the way to go. If you read the information in the page that I posted the link for, you will see that Audacity projects depend on...

Re: Export to MP3 loses channel synch

These instructions are for Audacity 1.3.x I'm not sure how easily this can be done in Audacity 1.2.6, so I suggest that you download and install the 1.3.6 version - you can have both versions installed at the same time (but you can only run one version at a time, and Audacity 1.3.x projects cannot b...

Re: buying a headset

Nice one Koz - for the price I'm tempted to get a set for the heck of it. The specifications are excellent for such a low price - I'll definitely think about getting some of those after Christmas.

Re: Clipfix (see waveform pic) - plugins available?

... Ok, so I made a mistake. I gave a mic a bit too much gain and now the reading went off the scale, resulting in this: http://arnie.frih.net/clipwave.png You can see the sine-like waves in there still, so I was wondering if there is a plugin that can reconstruct those waves by completing the part...
