Re: FFT Size. Global?
That setting changes the FFT resolution that is used when you select "Spectrum" or "Spectrum Log" as the display mode for the track (in the track drop down menu. Most of the effects in Audacity do not use FFT, but those that do will often have their own controls for setting the F...

Re: No Flucuant Waves when recording
The answer is in the link that I posted earlier.
Your turntable is USB - you must select the turntable as the recording device, not your sound card.
See the link for more information.

Re: Can I unsort mixed tracks?
Do you still have the Audacity project (AUP file and data folder)? When you open your project, do you see several tracks above each other? If the answer to both is "yes", then use the "time shift tool" (button with double headed horizontal arrow) to slide the tracks left/right so...

Re: MP3 Quality
You've not mentioned what your operating system is, but since Mac and Linux users are usually keen to say that they are using something better than Windows, I'll assume that you are using some version of Windows ;) For Windows you should be using this version of Lame with Audacity 1.3.6 http://lame....

Re: Sound problems on 2nd track
It may be worth trying Audacity 1.3.6 - it handles the sound card a bit differently from 1.2.x, so it's worth trying to see if you get better performance. No need to uninstall 1.2.x, you can have them both installed at the same time. (Audacity 1.3.x can open projects made in v.1.2.x, but Audacity 1....
