Re: Trying to use Audacity to record Teams Meeting in Windows

I'm trying to record the conversation in Teams but I couldn't get any audio input I don't use Team Viewer, but it is common for voip and similar apps to take exclusive control of the sound system, making it impossible to record with Audacity running on the same computer. I do not wish to make known...

Re: Top right corner not registering as being inside the window, closing window behind Audacity

I don't recall that being a known bug, but that's an old version of Audacity. The current version is 2.4.2: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/

How big is the AUP file?
How long (approximately, in hours) was the recording?

He was pretty responsive and helpful though, and I'll keep trying. Please do let us know about any updates - we hear from quite a few people that want to use the full potential of UMC404HD with Audacity and it would be very helpful if we could direct them to an official download location for the ne...

The "Issues" link bring me here for some reason.
That will be because we provide the source code. However, in this case you know the problem is specific to the flatpak version, so it must be a packaging / build issue.

Re: Cursor error in flatpak version

We don't make the flatpak build. You should report the error to the site where you got the flatpak from.

Re: Recording through aux cable

Windows will normally enable the mic socket when a jack plug is plugged into the socket. In the Windows Sound control panel, you should be able to see a green meter bouncing when you play something into the mic socket. It always really hard on the recording.
That depends on what equipment you are using.
With a dynamic mic plugged into a USB mic pre-amp, it should be quite easy - certainly easier than recording something that is very quiet.

an aux cable
What exactly is your "aux cable" ?

Is your computer a full size computer or a laptop?
What audio in / out connections does it have?
