Have you tried using this effect "musically"? I've just had a bit of a play with it, and it is possible to create some interesting distortion effects with it. As it stands, the effect is rather harsh, but applying a low pass filter to the processed signal takes out the excessive "fuzz...

You seem to be getting this problem as a regular feature, but I don't ("touching wood" as I type ), so I don't see how the problem can be directly to do with the forum hardware or software.

I've not got a system to test this on, but I would guess that if you move the files to be processed to the other computer, then the "cleaned" folder will be created there. There is no user option to configure the export directory.

Do you know if there will be a pre-built .deb package of Audacity 1.3.6 built? Not as far as I know. The main difficulty with building from the tarball seems to be satisfying all dependencies. Audacity creates a folder called "cleaned" in the directory where the files that you select for batch processing are located.
