Re: No line input on vista home
On your desktop (for Windows in the bottom right corner near the clock) you should find a loudspeaker icon from which you can open up either the Windows Mixer, or a custom Sound Card Control Panel. Use that to select and enable your recording source. Note that on some modern machines there is a seco...

Re: Recorded and Saved LP Projects Cannot be found

Re: Auto metadata title in 1.3?

Re: Recording at 24bit appears to be 16 bits padded to 24bit
I wonder if infact a 16bit file padded to 24bit would show samples below -96dB? What does it technically mean when a 16bit file is padded to 24bit? If you record from a 16 bit device then each sample is in the range of 0000000000000000 (0 in decimal) and 1111111111111111 (131071 in decimal). Each s...

Notice the difference in the positions of the individual samples in a 32 bit track compared to a 16 bit track:

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Perhaps you could post a screen shot to illustrate.thunderstick wrote:The audio file graphic range still goes well below -145 (for 16 & 24bit files)

Re: will not run
I'm not at all surprised that 1.2.x versions do not work. None of your hardware had been invented when 1.2.x was written. I am however surprised that 1.3.7 does not work.
