Re: Spyware Detector and Audacity

but told me that there were 174 bad entries ..... all associated with SpyWare Detector. Another set of phantoms or what? I don't know enough about Spyware doctor to be able to comment on this, but there is a frequent issue that occurs when using more than one anti-virus or anti spyware program at t...

Re: clipping

My question is- is limiting damaging the sound? Short answer is YES. All forms of compression/limiting "damage" the sound in the sense that it resembles the original recording less closely than it did before. However, that is not to say that it is "bad". I regularly use hard lim...

Re: File|Close shuts down software instead of project

Re: Using Audacity to mix down multiple mp3's

MP3's do not have that ability. However, you could use a series of individual MP3 files, and publish a playlist so that when someone downloads and plays the playlist, it will load each mp3 as required and display the information associated with that MP3 file.

Re: what audacity and setting up !

Re: Novation Nio USB Audio/MIDI / Audacity

However, for most ASIO devices there are also Windows drivers (WDM drivers) available. These should work with Audacity. ...

Re: Sound Soap 2 conflict

Removing the VST bridge plug-in from Audacity should enable Audacity and Sound Soap to co-exist (though you will then be unable to use any VST effects in Audacity -though with the hundreds of free Ladspa and Nyquist plug-ins available that should not be too much of an issue)
