And like Ahajnal you have not said what kind of "representation" you want.mjmes wrote:Basically I have the same question as Ahajnal.
For a stereo signal, how do I export the signal as two text files each representing one channel?

Re: Need help recording to existing mp3's
Check the keyboard manual. I suspect that the keyboard does not send audio through the USB cable. The USB cable is most probably for midi data and not audio. If so, you will need to plug an audio output from the keyboard into a "Line level input" on your sound card (not a microphone input ...

Re: Inport time not long enough
No problem rhudgens, thanks for letting us know - I'm sure that you are not the first or last to fall into that one. SUPER (by erightsoft) is free for the full version (that's what I use in Windows). Downloading it is a bit of a link jungle, but it is worth the effort. There is a free version of Swi...

Re: How to make "distorted vocals"?
Going back to your original post, I believe that you were "overcooking" the vocals for a "low-fi" pop record, because you liked the effect. If that spectrum is just from the vocal I imagine that it will probably be all right in the mix (though it is not possible to get much of a ...

Re: Export drops last sample
I've had a quick line back from one of the developers and apparently a message from you did get through on the "feedback" e-mail address. He's not had time to look at the issue yet, but (along the lines of my own thought on the issue) commented that a single dropped sample should not cause...

Try setting the Audio I/O preferences to record in mono, and on the Quality tab set it to 44100Hz 16 bit.
Disconnect from the internet, and shut down all programs including your anti-virus program. How many tracks can you record?

Re: Need Help with Manually Recovering Temp Files
Have a look in the tutorials (link at top of page) and find the tutorial about recording vinyl and cassettes. There is a bit in there about "splitting tracks" and "Export Multiple" which I think may be useful. If you are using Vista you will probably find that Audacity 1.3 works ...

Re: Not recording
Near the clock on your desktop you should find a loudspeaker icon. Double click on it. This will open either the "Windows Mixer", or a custom sound card control panel. Set which recording and playback inputs/outputs you are using and set the levels. Make sure that the input that you are re...

Re: Reducing Bass
If you have time to do so, please give the plug-in a good work out with all the different options. I would be happy to hear of any improvements, bugs, or other suggestions.
