Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between how 1.2.6 handles nyquist and how 1.3.x does it, to make it less resource friendly? Now there's a question. I can tell you how to put it back into the song very easily, but I've never found a satisfactory way to isolate a voice. How did you do that...

What exactly do you mean by "watermark"?

If I understand what you mean, I think you need an "Envelope follower".
I believe there has been a Nyquist plug-in made for this purpose (possibly by David R Sky).
I can't find it at the moment, but it may be worth Googling for it.

What operating system are you using?
Can you record anything? (for example, microphone?)
