Re: Can't Open Project File
I've been working on a particular project for many weeks, and saving it as i go, The safest thing to do is to periodically save with a different name - that way you have a series of projects (.AUP + data folder) at various stages of your work (a comprehensive chain of backups). It's a bit late sayi...

That's the Metadata (id3 tag) Editor that you are looking at. If you look at the top of that window, it says: "Edit the Metadata tags".
If you don't want to enter any matadata tags, just click "OK" and you will proceed to the "Export" screen.

Re: Records only left stereo track
I have a look at your video, and at the Fast Track manual, and I think there may be some confusion about what the Fast Track device can do. M-Audio give the impression that you can record 2 stereo inputs(4 inputs), but looking closer I think that is very misleading. With appropriate driver support, ...

Re: how to seperate one large track in to seperate tracks?
oh wait! i think it was because the link tracks button was pushed, does that suond right? If you also have a label track, then yes, that sounds very likely. The Link Tracks button links tracks to the label track. http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Label_Tracks#Linking_labels_with_audio_...

Re: Can't save files -- can't see folders
I don't think I can help very much - I use Gnome and know very little about KDE. Also, I've not used Audacity 1.3.4 for over a year and there have been quite a few changes since then. The first thing that strikes me is that your home folder is not visible, so I wonder whether it is a permissions pro...

Re: How to add a carrier frequency
That's great, thanks for taking the time with the photos - it's always interesting to see how theory and practice compare. In this case the practice seems to work surprisingly well. Re.
