If you've got th 90 plug-in pack from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/plugins
and have downloaded the Windows version, it is an .exe file and you need to run it (double click on it) to install the plug-ins.

Audacity is currently being tested on Windows 7
From the picture on this page it looks like moblin are testing Audacity http://moblin.org/

No idea about Android - I thought it was mainly for 'phones and such like.

Well that confused me - this is the Audacity 1.2.x part of the forum.

You can disable all VST effects from the "Effects" tab in Audacities Preferences.

Can you give some details.

Exactly which version of Audacity?
What is the installation location?
Do you have more than one copy of Audacity installed?
Which effects do you want to remove?
Any other details that may be relevant?

Effects that are above the line in the list can not be deleted as they are built into the program.
Effects that are listed below the line may be removed by deleting (or moving) the corresponding file from the Plug-ins folder which is in the Audacity program folder.
