I don't think so (but not 100% sure). As far as I know you need FFMpeg to import WMA

Apologies for confusing the issue - I meant "Software Playthrough" is an option in the Transport menu.
On Windows, hardware playthrough is automatic, so to use hardware playthrough you simply turn off software playthrough.

Could you tell us exactly which version of Audacity you have - look in "Help > About Audacity"

Are you sure that it is not already a mono track?

If you are using the latest 1.3 version, the option is also available near the bottom of the Transport menu.

I would recommend that users upgrade to the latest version until Audacity 2.0 is released.

Make sure that Audacity is "Stopped" (Stop button) and not just "Paused".
