Re: Pop/Click Noise when applying effects or trimming

Actually, even if I time-shift the audio file several seconds to the right, and then I start playing from the far-left of the screen (well before the file even begins), the click noise is still there! And the click is still where? Using Audacity 1.3 If you generate a 3 second tone and split it into...

Re: Audacity freezes during Export to Nero AAC

Anyway, I was wondering if there was some sort debug build where it would be possible to see what is causing Audacity to freeze? I think you need to build that yourself. You also need to build a debug version of WxWidgets in order to build a debug version of Audacity. Funnily enough I've just built...

Have you read this: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... s_Vista_OS

I wouldn't bother even trying with Audacity 1.2 - Vista had not been invented when that version came out - go for Audacity 1.3.9 (or later).

Re: Speaker Control

Oh good. Changing MP3s is not so great because (for most things) it involves decoding the MP3, making the change, then encoding it again, and since encoding as MP3 is "lossy" there is a drop in sound quality each time you do it. You are going to go through these files and sort out which on...

Re: Click track broken? (64-bit)

If you are building the libraries from source, can you do "./configure --program-suffix=32" or something?
Good luck.

Re: Music analyzing features

Have you considered adding the musical analyzing features (also useful for speech analysis) Audacity already contains several tools including Spectrum Analyasis, Beatfinder, and support for VAMP plug-ins: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Vamp_Plug-ins Plug-in developers are welcome to m...

Re: Nyquist Plugin Modification Needed for SilenceMarker.ny

A couple of things to avoid confusion in our readers: "SilenceMarker.ny" is the file name of the "Silence Finder" effect. "Silence Finder" is only accurate to within a few milliseconds, not to the nearest sample. This may require the latest version of Audacity 1.3 to wo...
