Re: Error When Saving Projects
there are 398 files in the temporary file. The question is: How to stick the files together See here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=CrashRecovery "Error Occurred. Project May Not Be Writeable or Disk is Full" Which version of Audacity are you using? (look in Help > About Au...

Re: Which audio do I use
Windows 7 has not yet had much real "field testing" for Audacity (or any other application). I'd suggest that you try both and see which works better. Is there an option for "direct sound"? If Audacity is currently working - write down settings (on paper) before you change them -...

I think the AppData folder is a hidden folder, so you need to make hidden folders available in your search.

Re: Overly Large Database on Windows
Perhaps we are looking at this the wrong way round. If a project is using files that are external to the project, then the project folder could be considerably smaller than a project that includes all of the audio data. In Audacity 1.2.x, there is an option in "Edit menu > Preferences > File Fo...

Re: Exporting to wav, aiff, au for cdrecord
There's a thread here: http://lists.debian.org/cdwrite/2004/01/msg00227.html > Works for me, although I put the -pad before the --audio. Don't know if > that's a clue or not Ah yes, good clue, man cdrecord says -pad affects the following track(s) until -nopad is used. (see link for full context)

Re: Exporting to wav, aiff, au for cdrecord
Your mention of ".au" files is ringing alarm bells.
You understand that the .au files that Audacity creates in the project data folder are just the data for Audacity and not proper audio files?
