You have the same problem as what?

The type of signature you posted (removed) and the utter vagueness of your post leads me to believe that this is not a genuine enquiry.
You have been given the benefit of the doubt.

Re: Project Rates

What do you mean "you can't"? Do you mean that you get an error message, or do you mean that you can't find where to set the recording sample rate?

Does your sound card support 48000?

Re: cant record into my recorder

Re: Not the program I need?

There's an effect called "Turntable Warp" that produces gradual speed changes: http://audacityteam.org/download/nyquistplugins
I'm not sure if it works in Audacity 1.2, but it works in Audacity 1.3

Re: importing wma, data files...H-E-L-P!!!!

iTunes and WMP both like to use unhelpful formats - Export from iTunes as WAV files. (You probably won't be able to do that if the original files are copy protected (DRM)

Re: Quality Numbers

Personally I would prefer that imported files were always resampled to the default format as set in Preferences (I'm not keen on "special cases" that break the rule), though if you are just making a quick edit to a single file it is convenient if the sample rate of the file is retained.
