Re: Changed PC want to import all music
The .au files are small fragments of audio data that are required by the Audacity Project. If you only have 32 of them then you only have a few minutes from the show.

Re: No playback?
I've been saving all of these such setup and other files to an external hard drive...does this change the situation? And I do not follow at all: after I extracted the contents to the Audacity folder I have in the hard drive, what and how do I open "Preferences from the Edit menu?" All I c...

Re: ERROR: Could not find sinewave.raw in rawwaves
Try using the "Cross Fade In" or "Cross Fade Out" effects. Do they give an error message?

Set the Project rate (bottom left corner of main Audacity window) to 44100, then try exporting as WAV 16 bit PCM.

Re: file saved 1.3.5 using 1.2.6 cannot open need to update
Audacity 1.3.5 is an old beta version of Audacity and 1.2.6 is an even older "stable" version. With newer computers and newer software, the ancient 1.2.6 version is showing its age rather badly. I recommend that you upgrade to Audacity 1.3.11 which is available here: http://wiki.audacityte...

Re: No sound, can't record
In sounds and audio devices i have put the mbox as default playback device but i don't get the option to set it as default recording the only option there is the soundmax HD audio. If you using Vista or Windows 7 you need to ensure that it is enabled for recording. See here: http://wiki.audacitytea...
