Re: Editing out buzz on mp3 file
A "buzz" ! That's quite an understatement. The noise is far too much to be able to do much in Audacity. The best I can manage is using "Gnome Wave Cleaner", but that's a Linux program. The good news is that you can get Gnome Wave Cleaner and Linux for free (open source software)....

Re: cant record pc is connected to my tv
The method will be more or less the same as described here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... uter_or_CD
(you should also check the copyright terms to ensure that you are not trying to do something illegal)

Re: 1.3.10 default timer change to 1 hr is annoying
I'm on Linux so I'm not sure that this will be exactly the same for you:
To set the timer duration to 15 minutes starting immediately:
1) Shift+T (Timer Record)
2) 000015 (15 minutes)
3) Enter. (OK)

That works when you've deleted something off the end, I thought that was what we were talking about ;) but does not work when you've deleted something in the middle of a track. Well it depends on which part of the track you want to see. If you want to see the current cursor position you can use &qu...
