Re: Help With Noise Removal In Classical Piano Piece
I recorded it by simply connecting a line cable from Line Out on the electronic piano ... Are you sure that you used a "Line out" from the piano and not a "headphone out"? (headphone outputs are often more noisy than line-out sockets). The input volume was all the way up (on the...

How are you getting the audio data out of the Zoom? If you are using the (optional) USB interface use the included Audio File Manager software to export from the Zoom in WAV format. http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/mrs1608/

Re: DVD-Audio
As WC says, but just to stress, once you delete the data folder the Audacity Project is gone forever (so check that the Exported files are right before you zap the project).

Re: Monitoring
Run the audacity, go to transport and check software play through I'm not using Software Playthrough. Why should I be using Software Playthrough? On the newly created track, if you press shift+u, it'll mute, but you'll still hear the whatever is being recorded. If you press shift+g and change the v...

Re: Slows down during import
The problem is most likely caused by Audacity not understanding the format of the files that you are importing. It sounds like Audacity 1.3 can almost guess the format correctly but may be setting the wrong sample rate. Try adjusting the sample rate by clicking on the name of the track and selecting...

Re: Unresponsive Pause button
I'm still wondering if any other Mac users have had this problem, It's the first I've heard of this. It's a bit of a long shot, but try going to "Edit menu > Preferences > Keyboard" and click on the DEFAULTS button. Click "OK", then restart Audacity. Press "R" (start r...
