Check that "Software Playthrough" is off (Transport menu)
Try rebooting.
Check that Windows Update is not running.
Check that other updates are not happening (anti-virus, firewall, Windows Defender.....)

"Bit rate" and "Sample rate" are not the same thing. When dealing with audio streams we talk about "bit rate" - the number of binary digits per second. When dealing with audio files we talk about "sample rate" - the number of audio samples per second. For 32 b...
