If it's just a few, then the easiest way is to zoom in really close, select the silence precisely and delete it.

Re: Can't Hear when Software Playthrough is turned off

Does the USB device have a headphone socket? If it does, you can plug your headphones into that for monitoring the recording. If not, your best option may be to get a headphone splitter lead so that you can have both the computer and your headphones plugged into the keyboard at the same time.

Not really. Audacity projects are usually very large and are not easy to transport. Do you really need the Audacity project or could they just Export an MP3 and send you that?

Re: Audacity runs super-slow and crashes on me

What operating system?
Which exact version of Audacity?
What else is running at the same time as Audacity?
Is this a laptop or desktop computer?
What sort of sound card?
Anything else that might help?

If you do, could you look at the following settings and tell me what they are: Edit menu > Preferences > Audio I/O (all settings on that page) Edit menu > Preferences > Quality (all set...

Re: Audacity Leaves Mac in Weird State

USB turntables don't like routers, but they like USB hubs even less. When recording audio (or video), the USB is required to record a constant data stream in real time without interruption. USB is not at that at the best of times, but if there is a chance that the USB stream can get interrupted by a...

Re: wav file names not showing on burned cd

Not sure about the "Lite" version of Nero, but the full version can do CD-text providing that is supported by your CD writing drive. When CD-text is selected Nero uses the file name as the default text. To get both the artist and track name to be written the name of the ausio file should b...

Are you using any other USB devices? (for example a USB microphone or turntable?)

If the project has not been closed, try "Undo" (from the Edit menu, or Ctrl+Z)
