Re: Blue Forum Header

Isn't the 1.3 manual included in Windows / Mac versions of Audacity? If someone is not going to read it there, why will they read it here?

Re: Crashes when I press play

Re: Problem in Multichannel Recording and playback system

Audacity does not currently support multi-channel playback, though you can export multichannel files for playback in other applications.
Does that blow out using Audacity for doing this project or is it worth us discussing the multichannel record issues?

Re: very few effect available

What you appear to have there is the standard set of effects that are distributed with Audacity. Other effects may be installed separately. If you think that you have other effects (for example LADSPA effects) installed but they are not showing up, check in "Edit menu > Preferences > Effects&qu...

Re: transferring files

It is recommended that you use Audacity 1.3.x (currently 1.3.11) with Vista, but let's see if we can get this file exported safely first. Open the project in Audacity, then click on "File > New" Go back to the first project and press Ctrl+A (select all) Ctrl+C (copy) Now go to the empty pr...

Re: transferring files

Does the song play OK?
Are you able to Export the entire track?
What format are you exporting as?
Exactly which version of Audacity are you using? (see Help menu > About Audacity)
What operating system are you using?

Re: Imput Devices

I'm guessing that you are talking about a MIDI connection between the piano and your computer.
