Re: very few effect available
Mint - that's Ubuntu based isn't it? Have a look in Synaptic for "swh-ladspa" - that will install a good bundle of useful LADSPA plug-ins (not all of them work with Audacity, but most of them do and there's some really nice ones). To install additional Nyquist plug-ins, you just download t...

Re: Keeping selection
1) Use Ctrl+mouse wheel for fast zoom in and out. 2) Make a selection and then position the mouse pointer near to the selection WITHOUT clicking. Press the "B" key. Audacity will play the region between the mouse pointer position and the closest edge of the selection. 3) Make a selection a...

Re: Importing multiple audio files from command-line
I don't think so. Audacity has extremely few CLI options (I think you have just described all of them).bipll wrote:Can I start Audacity from a command line with a single new project where multiple audiofiles are imported?

Re: beginner help
Do you have any video editing software? If so, does it allow you to export WAV files from your recorded video? (that's a job for video software, not Audacity) If you are able to import and export the audio track from your video than we may be able to help you edit the audio with Audacity, but Audaci...
