Have you come across the *scratch* symbol? You can't use it for passing sounds, but you can use it for other data.

I don't think so. Audacity has extremely few CLI options (I think you have just described all of them).

Do you have any video editing software? If so, does it allow you to export WAV files from your recorded video?
