Re: Snoball USB microphone, cant record in stereo

.I have been able to record it stereo with other programs. Either you've been defying the laws of physics, or you've been recording mono :D I think what you mean is that you have been recording "2 channel mono" - that is, a left and a right channel (like stereo) but both channels are iden...

No, you should still be able to use the microphone, but you can't have the microphone playing loudly through speakers at the same time. If you either, use headphones, or mute the microphone playback, it should work correctly.

Re: Mono, Stereo, right channel, left channel

Go to the sound card control panel/mixer (loudspeaker icon near the time/date on your Desktop) and set the recording input to "Line In" (Line) - you have most likely got it set to "Stereo Mix" (What U Hear).

Re: Very basic recording setup

At present I use my laptop, which I connect via the Mic to the Rec Out of the PA system's amp. I think I may have misread that. I bet you're not recording with a microphone at all - you've connected the Line out (Rec) from the amp and have it plugged into the Mic input of your laptop. Am I right? T...
