Re: Why plug ins wont paste in the plug in folder?

If you add more VST effects you will need to make Audacity re-scan the plug-ins. See here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/VST_P ... a_versions

Re: Sound Engineering Help

Getting a "clean" recording doesn't have to involve renting the Crystal Cathedral to record in. I make perfectly good recordings in my heavily carpeted bedroom with California Cottage Cheese ceilings and with everything including the microphone spread out on the bed on top of the feather ...

Re: Latency that changes

Re: Set/Change default save location in Windows 7

I've had a reply - here it is in full: As I recall (I recently read something somewhere about this “new feature”), on Win7 the current save directory is “automagically” remembered by the OS. If you have never saved a file it seems to default to “current working directory” which is being hijacked by ...

Re: 1.3.12 compile broken after svn update

Try running: make clean Then update again from SVN, compile and make. (should work - I've just updated about 5 minutes ago - Audacity ® 1.3.12-alpha-Feb 14 2010) If you're on Ubuntu Karmic, there is a daily build available here: https://launchpad.net/~audacity-team/+archive/daily I've been testing t...
