Re: What effect do you recommend for warming up a digital pi
You will get a different sound from using a microphone to record the piano playing through a speaker to what you get from plugging the piano directly into your computer. If possible, try both methods.

Re: Volume greyed out on USB audio CODEC in XP
ART USB phono plus works well on Vista. I assumed that when I switched to my personal computer XP it would work even better. We all assume Vista has trouble with device drivers. But I guess sometimes Vista is really an improvement over XP. They had to get something right. I wouldn't get too excited...

Re: high pitched background noise
This is a guessing game at the moment. Laptop computers have a habit of producing a high pitched whistle due to interference from the power supply. The most simple "cure" is to run the laptop on batteries. If that's not it, could you give details of what equipment you are using, how it is ...

Re: budget (usb) mic for classical guitar recording needed
3 wires got disconnected while I was trying to pull i out... Oops. anyway nothing that my soldering iron can't fix... Glad to hear that. Re: lining up track labels
You can Export Multiple with single point labels.
If all the labels are single points, the exported sections will start at one label and end at the next.
Things may get weird if you use a mixture of single point labels and region labels.

Re: I want to make edits on all tracks at once
You can see which tracks are selected because they are a different colour (darker).
You can also select/deselect tracks using the ENTER key. Use the up/down cursor keys to move focus from one track to another and then use the ENTER key to toggle selection.

Re: Classic Reverb in 1.3 (Beta)
There are a lot of different reverb effects and they can vary in subtle or very obvious ways from each other. Just as different rooms have different ambiance, so different reverbs have different characters. Depending on what you are doing this may or may not be important. Can you tell the difference...
