Re: select EXACTLY
If you know the numbers ahead of time, you can enter them into the time boxes at the bottom of the editor. I've never actually done that, but that's what they're there for. That feature is only available in Audacity 1.3 (not available in Audacity 1.2.6). Audacity 1.3.12 is the current (and highly r...

Re: Windows 7, Itunes 9.1, and Audacity 1.2.6
The recommended version of Audacity for Windows 7 is Audacity 1.3.12 (Audacity 1.2.6 is known to have a lot of problems on Windows 7). You can download it here: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows when i look at it, the "song" is only like .102 seconds long It is probably an unsu...

Re: Upside Down music
on ITV London in the break on around 2040 tonight, there was an advert ofr Bathstore, which had Popcorn by Hot Butter turned upside down, and the instumentation was identical but everything the other way round. The tune was in the major key, not minorkey. I've not heard the advert but it is most li...

Re: noise problem
Thanks for the feedback Utix. I still think that the noise level is a bit high for something that is described as a "studio condenser microphone", but I suppose for the price it is not unreasonable. When you record, if you can maximise the amount of sound that is being picked up you should...

Re: Stopped recording last night.
For audio recording you need to have plenty of free, unfragmented disk space.
How much free disk space do you have?
Have you defreagmented your hard drive recently?

Re: Problems recording.
"Overdub" needs to be selected but not "Software Playthrough".bugmenot1 wrote:I can't uncheck "software play through", because I need to hear the song.
You should be able to uncheck "software playthrough" and still hear the song.

Re: stuttering background track when i record
If the "audio buffer" setting is set too low it can cause this problem. The default setting of 100 usually works fine.Tobias wrote:When i hit record however it starts to stutter or delay and i can't complete the overdub.
