Re: Can anyone name this sound/voice effect?
Yes, I think the ANWIDA reverb is one of the best sounding free reverbs available but I don't think that a Linux/Audacity friendly version is available. Nevertheless, GVerb can produce good results, but it takes a bit more work. (Other reverbs are available for Linux, but GVerb is about the most Aud...

Re: Minimum length mod for Silence Marker and Sound Finder
if minimum distance is set to 6 seconds, I get labels at 3s, 9.5s and just before 16s. Firstly, I don't see a rationale for the first label at 3s instead of 1s. That's not a bug, it's a feature :D To take your test example - Whichever way you do it, dividing a 16 second track with a lot of evenly s...

Re: What is a VST Host?

Re: Can anyone name this sound/voice effect?
If you use much "Early Reflection" you need to keep the room size quite big.
For smaller room size, reduce the "Early Reflection" a lot.
I always use GVerb on a copy of the track then mix the original (dry) signal with the duplicate track with reverb (wet).

As I'm already here... Any tips on how to desable or how to control "noise suppression" and "echo cancellation"? Unfortunately the place to disable this varies from one machine to another. Here's the setting (left side - green dot shows it is enabled) of where it is on one versi...
