Re: Need audacity expert to clean up a wav file $$

Is the sound unrecoverable? The only sound present in that sample is dither noise. There is no recorded sound at all, so there is nothing there that can be recovered. Perhaps you uploaded the wrong sample? The server site hijacked my browser. Ouch yes- they've got some nasty heavy duty pop-ups. :ev...

Re: Export quality settings should be more visible

Nevertheless "few can hear the difference" is hardly an excuse for not displaying the info clearly! If you record a project at 96kHz, then Export the recording, it will also be at 96kHz unless you change the project rate. If you export as "WAV (Microsoft) 16 bit PCM", the the ex...

Re: cn anyone help me record over a beat

1 last thing do yu no how to seperate the vocal off a song cn you actually do that?? "separate" could mean either "remove" the vocals, or "isolate" the vocals (remove everything else except for vocals). Both versions are discussed on this page: http://wiki.audacityteam...

Re: Sample Printer

It probably needs an error forbidding more than 1000 samples I'd rather not do that as the number of samples that can be processed is dependant on the available RAM. I think that 1000 samples is a sensible limit for "average" computers, though some users that have heaps of RAM may want to...
