Re: SOUND ACTIVATION DELAY

I have a suspicion of why that is, but I'd need to check some details to be sure. Do you know the make/model of the USB converter, or even a web link to the product?

Re: Can you hear your audio (on a keyboard) while recording?

In the absence of further details I would go for the same advice - Use a splitter lead so that you can connect both the computer and headphones to the keyboard at the same time.

If you could find out the make and model number of the keyboard there may (or may not) be a better alternative.

Re: Splitting multitrack recording using labels

if you only do basic things nero works but is awkward to find where everything is . The full interface may be a little intimidating for novice users because it includes support for many advanced formats and features: multiple drive support, multiple copies, data verification, bootable CD support, m...

Re: New Toshiba - won't record except thru mic

Maybe should'a opted for a Mac, Macs can't record "Stereo Mix" either, unless you install additional software, or use a "loopback" connector. Using additional software or a loopback connector are also options on Windows 7. For the price of a decent iMac you could probably buy tw...

Re: Help needed exporting multiple files to MP3 at once

e had a fighting chance with the Auto Chop feature (which I still can't find, but I think it exists). That's called "Regular Interval Labels", and it is in the "Analyze" menu. The only other possibility is clever use of the Silent Sense tool, That is called "Silence Finder&...

In Audacity, go to "Edit menu > Preference > Devices"
What options are available in the "Playback > Device" section?
