Try changing the sample rate (Edit menu > Preferences > Quality). I have a Zoom H2 that can be used as a USB microphone. On Linux, recording with a 44100 Hz sample rate is perfect, but recording at 48000 comes out way too slow. Your issue sounds similar. There should be no problem in the export step...

You didn't get any other options when you selected "Show disabled devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices"?
