Another good file format conversion tool is SUPER (by erightsoft). Downloading it is a link jungle, but it's free and well worth the hassle of downloading.

That's where I'm getting stuck.Sliver surfer wrote:I have programs in linux I would like to record with 1 msec latency at 192khz.
What programs?
What exactly do you mean by 1 ms latency?
Where is the signal coming from and where is it going to?
Why do you want/need low latency?

Re: Flac Mac Attack
Same for Windows Media Player.
There are plug-ins to enable Flac support on both Quicktime and WMP.
Quicktime plug-in: http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/about.html
WMP plug-in: http://xiph.org/dshow/downloads/
Foe Windows users I'd recommend using Foobar2000 instead of WMP as their audio player.

Re: finer resolution in Silence Finder
I find that I get a huge amount of variation in processing time with Nyquist plug-in for no apparent reason, but I generally work on small files (anything from a few seconds up to a few minutes). Sometimes a 30 second file will take 10 seconds to process, and other times with similar audio and plug-...

he facts that in the sinewave test the event happens only at multiples of 120 ms, which matches the buffer length Which buffer length? Didn't you say the buffer is set to 100 ms? suggest to me that a bug has been introduced that should be investigated. Possibly not - with almost 2 million downloads...

Re: Tremolo with frequency sweep
I think is see what you mean.
You want to be able to apply tremolo and a "sliding speed/pitch change" to a sound (any sound) so that as the pitch varies then so the tremolo speed also varies?
Like this sample?
