Re: Exporting in WAV

I just downloaded Audacity 1.3.12 You've posted in the 1.2 part of the forum - I'll move it to the 1.3 part. i only get the option to export the wav in 16 bit, when i would like 24, or 32 bit. In the Export dialogue, select "other uncompressed files" (instead of WAV 16) then click on the ...

Re: Mach5 LightSpeed...??

Listen to the super fast duplicate and place labels to indicate the points on the super fast duplicate track. You mention when I have all the labels completed to select both...

Re: Output Multichannel

Either use a different program instead of Audacity, or (preferably) find a really good C+ programmer that wants volunteer to develop this feature. The following are listed on the Audacity wiki "Feature Requests" page. Would you like me to add your votes? * Multi-channel output (51 votes) S...

Re: Help to get into Talkswitch format

You will need an audio program that can create .wav files in 8-bit, 8000 Hz, mono or μ-law format. Assuming that you are starting with a mono track in Audacity - In the bottom left corner of the main Audacity window, set the "Project Rate" to 8000. "File menu > Export" Select &q...

Re: Plectrum Clicks

The sound before the beep is your original recording. The sound after the beep has had the plectrum clicks edited out. The beep indicates that one version has finished and the next version is about to start.

Re: Making a mixtape with Audacity?

And some Tutorials: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Tutorials

I would highly recommend using Audacity 1.3.12 rather than the old 1.2.6 version.
