Re: How I can upload an attachment ?

I was trying to upload a spreadsheet (.ods) for a better reply to Koz The best thing would be to check with Koz what format would suit him (he may not have MS Office either as he uses mostly Macs). Files can always be uploaded elsewhere on the internet (such as sendspace.com) and then you can inclu...

Re: New Computer

There are no special requirements for Audacity, though it is important that your sound card is fully supported by the operating system. Don't expect a sound card to work properly on Windows 7 unless it explicitly says that it is fully supported by Windows 7. One potential pitfall on Windows is that ...

Re: adding CD Text metadata

Re: How I can upload an attachment ?

What do you want to upload?
Pictures can be uploaded in .jpg, .png and (probably) .gif (I've not tried uploading .gif)
Text may be uploaded as .txt
Audio may be uploaded as wav, mp3, flac and ogg.
Nyquist scripts may be uploaded as .ny
There may be some other formats also.

Re: So discouraged with Audacity. need help.

I then bought a new computer which has Windows 7... I shudder every time I read that. On Windows 7 there are multiple places to set levels and the recording format which you should be able to get at through the Windows Control Panel - there is a bit of a guide to using the Control Panel here: http:...

Re: Not recognizing

I presume that you want to record the output from Traktor? I think that Native instruments have deliberately made this difficult to do because they would prefer that you bought the Pro version (which has recording built in). You may be able to get round their restrictions by recording "Stereo M...

Yes delay + resampling can produce some cool effects.

So I presume that is a bug then? Are you going to fix it or leave it as it is?

Re: New Plug-in: Label Gunn

BUG NOTICE: I'm not sure if this effects any other versions of Audacity, but I noticed that in 1.2.6, if you use this plug-in and enter some values via the slider, the values auto-change. The issue you are referring to is an inaccuracy due to the slider precision being different to the text display...
