Re: Can't Scroll Left and right?

Good bit of detective work rollo :) As Audacity depends heavily on WxWidgets it is obviously important that Audacity is being built on a stable platform. WxWidgets 2.9.1 was released just a couple of months ago and is a "development release". Switching to 2.9.1 is likely to require changes...

Re: Windows 7 Pro 64bit - Play and Record Stalling

Is this issue irrespective of the length of the recording, or only for tracks beyond a certain size?
(I bet you're going to tell us that it makes no difference if the track is one second or one hour  )

Re: SilenceFinder V1.1 can place labels before 0 on the time

If you would be so kind as to attach a v.1.3 I was a bit short on time, which is why I just posted the essential change. The code is starting to look very "hacked", which is not surprising as it is an adaptation of an adaptation of an adaptation of an original script by Alex S. Brown. Con...

Updated Sound Finder

While adding finer resolution in Sound Finder and preventing "reverse" labels and labels before time=0 it was apparent that the code had a lot of "stuff" hanging over from earlier code. Rather than just adding another "hack" I've rewritten much of it, which will hopeful...

Re: Pause button operating wrong copy of Audacity

I think the behaviour of the Pause button is distinctly odd. (For some reason when I displayed this topic a few minutes ago there were no replies, but when I tried to post I was notified of multiple replies :? ) As I recall, we started making changes to Transport button behaviour in multiple project...

Re: Time indication

Audacity 1.3.10 has a bug that affects "Export Multiple", so if you use that feature then that is a good reason for not using it. (The bug was promptly fixed in the next release). If not that, then perhaps you just forgot about it :)

Re: Time indication

In Audacity 1.3, look in "Help > About Audacity". If it's an earlier version that 1.3.12 you should update it as there have been some important bug fixes in 1.3.12 To update, just download the installer from here http://audacityteam.org/download/features-1.3-a and install over the top of y...

Re: Time indication

The old 1.2.6 has quite a lot of features missing compared with Audacity 1.3.12, including the feature that you are asking about.
I would also highly recommend upgrading.

Re: Windows 7 Pro 64bit - Play and Record Stalling

Windows Control Panel Under Recording, I have three options Digital Line Interface (my USB audio input) There are also "format" settings (for example 16 bit 44100 Hz) - I think you access them by right clicking on the device (for example "Digital Line Interface") and selecting &...

Re: Windows 7 Pro 64bit - Play and Record Stalling

Certainly strange symptoms, and with that hardware Audacity should fly. What recording settings are you using? In Audacity: "Edit menu > Preferences > Quality" In the Windows Control Panel: (I'm not going to try and describe all of the click presses, but there's a description on this page ...
