Re: Labelling tracks

As I understand it when you follow the labelling process and then do the "Export Multiple" step, the resulting file should be your original track, but now divided into however many seperate tracks that you labelled? Not quite. When you "Export Multiple" you should get multiple f...

Re: Updated Sound Finder

During the testing phase of these plug-ins, would it be worth putting the version number in the ;info lines (e.g. v1.3.3 20Sept10) .... Once the code is finalized that information could be moved to a comment. Yes, good idea using the date - better than using version numbers as I keep forgetting whi...

Re: Updated Sound Finder

Sorry about that - two little errors - one was a silly mistake in that I forgot to change the sample rate back to the correct value after testing it with a sample rate of 100 (that was the big "Doh!" :D) The other was an integer value instead of float which produced rounding errors. [File ...

Re: Add Waveform Options to Isochronic Modulator Plug-in

Sorry about the delay GendeDios, I've been a bit short of time, but here's some bits that can be used as the modulation wave. You may like to have a play with this and see if you can work out what it's doing and how. I'll get back to you about how to integrate this into the main effect. Steve ;contr...

Re: Windows 7 Pro 64bit - Play and Record Stalling

You are correct. Aargh! (where's the 'smiley' that's pulling his hair out :D) Let's see if we can eliminate some possibilities. Could you try the following: Download the ZIP version of Audacity 1.3.12. Unzip it onto a USB stick. Create a folder on the USB stick in the same folder location as "...

Re: Differences between speech and audio

what is the difference between speech and audio in term of required sampling rates? "Speech" IS "audio". I presume that you mean the difference between speech and music? People are generally more fussy about sound quality for music than they are for speech - People will be quite...

Re: Labelling tracks

The problem is the saved result does not have 11 separate tracks, only a continuous single one. Can you tell what I am doing wrong? Without being able to see over your shoulder that's a bit tricky ;) There's some instructions here : http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Splitting_recordings_into_separa...

Re: S/PDIF Help!!

i STILL do not see anything on the Audacity meter, The meters should be showing channels 1 and 2 (left and right of the analogue inputs). I expect that eventually there will be provision for multi-channel metering for both input and output, but at present metering and playback are limited to 2 chan...
