Re: Add Waveform Options to Isochronic Modulator Plug-in

Look again :) - the "Pulse Variation (bias)" does something to each waveform, but it does different things to different waveforms.
I couldn't think of a good name for slider control - perhaps you can think of one.

Re: No sound on playback

Are you sure that it is not just really quiet?
Try applying the "Amplify" effect (from the Effect menu) with default settings.

New plug-in: Stereo Echo

I was wanting to use a stereo echo effect (different delay times on left and right channels) but was quite surprised that there didn't appear to be one. So I made one. If you wish to try this effect, please bookmark this page so that you can post comments/feedback in this thread. Old version: Stereo...

Re: Merging projects

Audacity Projects are only really a temporary form - they allow you to do all sorts of fancy editing and processing, but only Audacity can play them, they are huge, and are easily broken. When you have finished editing you should be Exporting the music as ordinary audio files. For example, if you wi...

Re: no effects (Delay)

Re: Recording from TASCAM US122 onto Audacity

Install Audacity 1.3.12. Use the microphone quite close to the guitar - try about 10 cm directly facing of the 12th fret. You will need a quiet environment, preferably somewhere with a lot of soft furnishings to cut down on echoes. If you have any specific questions, please post in the section that ...

Re: Updated Sound Finder

I think that was the final decision but I think it was by fiat Personally I think that in most situations 0.1 seconds is a reasonable minimum. With smaller values the user may run into problems such as huge numbers of labels and confusion over rounding errors. In what I would expect to be an unusua...

Re: Windows 7 Pro 64bit - Play and Record Stalling

We've ruled out quite a few possibilities, but unfortunately not really got any further in resolving the issue. You've probably guessed that we're all really keen to try and find what the problem is, but are you still OK with all of this testing? Have you any experience of Linux? If you could run Au...

Re: Updated Sound Finder

Did we decide that we wanted the plug-in to be capable of finer precision, but that the GUI would still have a minimum silence setting of 0.1 seconds? though I change the text string of the generated label Do we want that as a feature? As this is now a version 3 plug-in we could have a text input bo...
