Re: Chain export high sample rate mp3s from wav?

I don't think that you will be able to do it with Audacity. Perhaps you would have more luck with SUPER (a free converter by erightsoft) or Foobar2000 (a free music player/converter)

Re: "Wave Stats" plug-in

Sorry, I've no idea where that bell sound is coming from and I've not noticed this occur myself.
If you open the stats.ny file in a text editor you will see that there is no mention of a bell sound anywhere in the plug-in code.

Re: Send To

I don't often use Windows much these days, but I'd guess that it's keeping the old file association in the Registry. Record in a quiet room. Use a pop shield (blast shield) Be aware of the recording environment - a well damped ro...

Re: Send To

Due to a Windows limitation, "Open with" won't support more than one executable on the computer having the same name. To work round the problem, rename the Audacity Beta executable to something other than "audacity.exe" (for example "audacitybeta.exe"). You may also nee...

Re: Problem Importing WAV Files

I don't see any evidence FFmpeg or Mencoder (both of which SUPER uses) support it either. As well as FFmpeg and Mencoder, I think that SUPER is also able to use codecs that are available to Windows Media Player. If Windows Media Player can play the files, then SUPER should be able to convert them. ...

Re: CD-text and I.S.R.C.

It is possible, but you need a CD drive and CD burning software that support these features.
Audacity does not burn CDs.
