Re: L/R Channel Imbalance
My personal preference is still to get the hardware set-up properly balanced so that both stereo channels are delivering an "equal" signal to the soundcard - obviating the need for any further balancing in software. I totally agree, but for dealing with existing Audacity recordings the pa...

Re: How I can upload an attachment ?
You're not going to get much video in the 1 (or is it 2) MB limit.
Best thing for video is to upload it somewhere (such as YouTube) and post a link.

Re: L/R Channel Imbalance
these tools work with "peaks" as limiting factors rather than some kind of average or compilation. Yes, spot on. to split the tracks, amplify the low one by some factor (you suggested 3db, although that sounds like a lot for the 5% imbalance that i estimate) and then re-join the tracks, I...

Re: Noise when recording with UCA202
Go into the Windows Control Panel and check that ONLY the USB device is enabled for recording.

What is it that you are trying to record?

Re: Playback problem using with Casio Keyboard drum effects
1. Do I also need to unplug the green lead (my speakers have the green and pink leads)? Leave the pink lead disconnected. Apparently that is a microphone connector, so it is a possible route for this unwanted return signal. Try two things, but first, set your "latency correcting" settings...

Re: MP3 exporting problem with windows 7
A simple HTML link directly to the file is the easiest way to put MP3s on a web site. This method always works, but whether they play in the browser, or prompt to be saved, or play in the visitors default media player, depends on how their web browser is configured. Another simple method is to link ...

Re: Playback problem using with Casio Keyboard drum effects
Shut down the computer, disconnect the pink lead that connects the speakers to the computer and restart the computer.
If that does not fix it we'll need to look in the Windows Control Panel (which I'd rather avoid).
