Re: question...

Audacity Projects allow you to work on multiple tracks and adjust them individually. Once you have mixed the project down to a normal audio file you can't.
The mix-down is a bit like baking - once a cake is baked you can't un-bake it.

Re: HARMONIC BOX X

I'd recommend using Audacity 1.3.12

There's several different definitions of "harmonic box x", so for steps to produce you'll have to say exactly what you want.

Re: Compiling Audacity with Asio

What I was suggesting was that an in depth discussion of compiling wxWidgets might be better in its own topic or possibly continued via Private Message. Probably better in its own topic. I'm sure that others will find it interesting/useful. This would probably be the most appropriate forum section:...

Re: add (concantentate) several files

The easiest, and possibly best way, is to put all of the tracks in a new folder, and also put a playlist in the folder (for example an m3u file). One of the advantages of using playlists is that media players are usually able to skip from one track to the next (like when playing a CD). If you physic...

Re: playing town the treble

You could either use the "Equalizer" effect, or the (much more simple) Tone Control plug-in that you can download from here: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 28&t=21920

Re: Playback problem using with Casio Keyboard drum effects

Yes exactly like that. That's the way I did it, and I still got the lines. What a shame. Could you post a screenshot of what's happening so that I can see if it is what I think it is. (there's a screenshot tool in the Audacity Help menu). Could you also look in the Windows Control Panel and see what...

Re: Mixing tracks manually

I have never used it in a gig situation where functions like PFL would be needed. PFL is also useful in the studio/home studio. When you are setting your input levels, turn down the channel fader (slider) and the master fader and press the PFL button. Turn up the "gain" (knob at the top o...

Re: Input

Use Audacity 1.3.12. Connect the USB cable from the turntable to the computer but NOT the audio cables. (You can connect the audio cables to your speakers/sound system if you have anything suitable). The turntable must be connected before you open Audacity. In Audacity: "Edit menu > Preferences...

Re: Playback problem using with Casio Keyboard drum effects

If you are doing multi-track recording then you need to do the latency set-up otherwise when you record new tracks they will not line up exactly with previous tracks. Try doing the latency correction set-up with the loop-back connector directly plugged into the in/out of you computer (headphones and...

Re: Mixing tracks manually

These are terrific little mixers for the price (I have a similar model myself) but Behringer have squeezed in so many routing options that it can sometimes get confusing. On the positive side it provides great flexibility.
